Introducing the Campus Creator Program: Highlighting the Best of Our Schools
We are excited to announce the launch of the Campus Creator Program, an initiative designed to give both students and teachers the opportunity to showcase the incredible things happening in our schools. Whether it’s a special event, an outstanding teacher, an amazing student, or a new program, Campus Creators will be at the forefront, capturing these moments through pictures and stories.
What is the Campus Creator Program?
The Campus Creator Program invites both students and teachers to become content creators for our district. Creators will be responsible for taking a picture and writing a short article to highlight significant moments and initiatives within their school. From sporting events and school programs to spotlighting exceptional staff and students, the content produced by Campus Creators will be featured across all district websites and could even be shared in the local newspaper, The Eagle Record.
Campus Creators will have access to the live feed portion of school websites, allowing them to submit their stories for approval. Once approved, their content will be shared with the world. The program is a wonderful opportunity for students interested in journalism or writing, and for teachers, it’s a platform to share the great work happening in their classrooms and across the district.
Recognition and Rewards
Campus Creators will be recognized for their contributions with digital badges that they can proudly display online and on social media. After completing five approved content pieces, Creators will also receive a matching lapel pin. The more content they create, the more badges they can earn, with milestones set at different intervals (e.g., 20 approved pieces unlocks the next badge).
In addition to the badges and pins, Campus Creators will be featured on a dedicated Campus Creator Page on the district website, spotlighting their efforts and showcasing their work.
At the end of the school year, we will award a Student and Teacher "Campus Creator of the Year".
