Clay Hill Elementary School Ravens celebrating winning the chapionship

After kicking off in early October, the Dorchester District 4 Soccer League officially came to an exciting close this week! This year, 20 teams from Williams Memorial Elementary School, Harleyville Elementary School and Clay Hill Elementary School participated, showcasing their skills and teamwork. Despite multiple weather delays that extended the season into November, the league's second year was another huge success!

The championship game on Wednesday night was an unforgettable showdown between the Giants of Harleyville (last year’s champions) and the Ravens of Clay Hill. Both teams gave it their all, but in the end, the Ravens soared to victory and claimed the championship title!

Principal Lemon celebrated her championship team with a free meal from the concession stand; what a treat!

We’re so proud of all the students who participated and made this league a true celebration of sportsmanship and fun. As the program continues to grow, we’ll need more coaches next season. Parents and guardians, if you're interested in volunteering, please let your school principal know!

Here’s to another fantastic year of DD4 Soccer! Congratulations to everyone!
