St. George, SC – The festive spirit was in full swing as the Tiger Town Chorus took the stage at the annual St. George Town Christmas Celebration on Sunday, December 1, 2024. With their harmonious voices and joyful presence, the chorus brought holiday cheer to the heart of the community.

The event, held on a crisp December evening in the historic downtown area, attracted a lively crowd of families, friends, and holiday enthusiasts. The Tiger Town Chorus, known for their exceptional talent and commitment to the arts, did not disappoint. Under twinkling lights and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, the group performed a selection of classic carols and modern holiday favorites.

From an upbeat rendition of I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday to a heartfelt performance of Light One Candle, the Tiger Town Chorus showcased their vocal versatility and passion for music.

“Music has a way of bringing people together,” said Seth Phillips, director of the Tiger Town Chorus. “Our students have worked incredibly hard to prepare for this performance, and it’s wonderful to see the community come together to celebrate the season.”

The performance was part of the larger St. George Town Christmas festivities, which included a holiday market, visits with Santa, and the much-anticipated Christmas tree lighting. For many attendees, the Tiger Town Chorus’s performance was the highlight of the evening.

“It was amazing to see our talented young singers shine on such a special night,” said one attendee. “Their music truly captured the joy and warmth of the season.”

The Tiger Town Chorus, representing Williams Memorial Elementary School, continues to make a name for themselves through performances that highlight their dedication and talent. Their appearance at the St. George Town Christmas is a testament to their role as ambassadors of music and community spirit.
