Dorchester School District 4 is delighted to continue its "Everyday Hero" employee recognition program, celebrating the exceptional individuals who play crucial roles in the success of our schools. These hardworking employees often operate behind the scenes, ensuring the smooth functioning of our schools while contributing to the education and well-being of our students.
Each month, the district shines a spotlight on these dedicated staff members to express appreciation for their unwavering commitment. "Everyday Heroes" receive a certificate of appreciation and a distinguished coin from Superintendent Beckwith, a token of the district’s profound gratitude for their remarkable service.
This month, we are honored to recognize three individuals, the first of which is Mrs. Linda Lewis, a Career and Technology Education (CATE) Teacher at Woodland High School.
Mrs. Lewis has been an educator for over 25 years and remains as passionate and dedicated to her profession today as she was on day one. She has become a cornerstone at Woodland High School, shaping the lives of countless students while contributing to the school community in various impactful ways.
Nominated by Principal Michael White, Mrs. Lewis received high praise for her extraordinary contributions:
"Mrs. Lewis is an amazing team member. She is always willing to do whatever she can for scholars, parents, her colleagues, and the community. She helps oversee the Miss Woodland High School Pageant, Homecoming Pageant, and FCCLA. Mrs. Lewis is truly a hometown hero and an everyday hero."
In addition to her professional excellence, Mrs. Lewis is known for her humility, gratitude, and her readiness to commemorate moments with a smile and a picture.
Dorchester School District 4 is proud to honor Mrs. Linda Lewis and celebrate her unwavering commitment to education and the community. Her exceptional service and passion make her a shining example of what it means to be an Everyday Hero. Congratulations, Mrs. Lewis!
