Dorchester School District Four is proud to announce that Mr. Alexander Simmons of Williams Memorial Elementary School has been selected as one of its April 2025 Everyday Hero recipients.

Known for his strong work ethic, positive attitude, and unwavering dedication, Mr. Simmons plays a vital role in keeping WMES running smoothly from morning to evening. He was nominated by Principal Ruth Mims, who praised his versatility and reliability in supporting both cafeteria and custodial operations.

In the mornings, Mr. Simmons assists with food preparation and personally delivers breakfast and snacks to pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students. In the afternoons, he works closely with the custodial team to ensure the building is cleaned and sanitized for the following school day.

No matter the task, Mr. Simmons consistently goes the extra mile with kindness and humility. His willingness to support others, without complaint, makes him a deeply valued member of the WMES community.

He will be officially recognized on April 23, 2025, and will receive a certificate of appreciation and the Superintendent’s Coin, symbols of the district’s heartfelt gratitude for his outstanding service.

Dorchester School District Four congratulates Mr. Alexander Simmons and looks forward to celebrating his continued contributions to the success of its students and schools.
