Nursing students from Woodland HS standing in front of a medical helicopter

It was an amazing educational experience for our aspiring nurses from Dorchester District Four! During a recent event hosted by LowCountry AHEC, our students stood out not only for their knowledge of healthcare but also for their exceptional soft skills.

They received numerous compliments from event facilitators and healthcare professionals, who were impressed by their professionalism, communication, and teamwork. In fact, their enthusiasm and confidence made such an impression that students from other schools were eager to join the DD4 group!

Kimberly Reeves, the dedicated teacher who led the group, shared, “It was a proud teacher moment for sure! Watching our students shine and seeing how others were drawn to them was incredible.”

Reeves looks forward to what’s next: “I truly look forward to developing this partnership with LowCountry AHEC. This experience has only deepened my excitement about the future opportunities for our students.”

These students represented DD4 with excellence, and their performance is a testament to the hard work, preparation, and support happening every day in our schools.

With partnerships like this, DD4 continues to lead the way in preparing the next generation of compassionate, skilled healthcare professionals.
