Dorchester School District 4 schools and offices will be closed from Monday, November 25th, through Friday, November 29th for Thanksgiving Break. Classes and regular operations will resume on Monday, December 2nd. We wish all of our students, staff, and families a safe and joyful holiday. Due to wet field conditions, we have moved everything back by one day. The Championship will now be Monday, November 18th. Tuesday 11/12 - 3rd-5th Round 1 and 1st-2nd Game 4 Wednesday 11/13 -3rd-5th Round 2. Thursday 11/14 -3rd-5th Semi Finals. Monday 11/18 - 3rd-5th Championship.

Please see below for next week's updated schedule. *Due to the number of teams for 3rd-5th playoffs, four teams will have a bye on Monday 11/11. *Monday 11/11 will be the last game for 1st-2nd. *We will have trophies for all teams.

Due to weather, tonight's (11/6) youth soccer games have been cancelled. There has been a slight update to next week's schedule -- please see below: GRADES 1 & 2: Teams will play Game 4 on Monday, 11/11. This will be their last game. Grades 1 & 2 will not play in playoffs. 🐄🐾 Meet “BUG,” Our Adopted Calf! 🐾🐄 Mrs. Denise Washington's 3rd grade class at Clay Hill Elementary School has a special new friend this year: BUG, their adopted cow from a local farm! 🐄 Each year, these students dive into the life cycle and animal growth by adopting a calf through Discover Dairy, learning with monthly data updates on their calf’s progress 📊✨ This program aligns perfectly with their learning standards and brings science to life in the classroom! Yesterday, all the Assistant Principals from Dorchester District 4 (DD4) schools gathered for the first DD4 Assistant Principals’ Academy at Woodland Middle School. 🌟 Hosted by Dr. Sanders and Mr. Beckwith, the event provided an opportunity for collaboration, idea-sharing, and discussion of various scenarios that Assistant Principals may encounter in their roles. Dr. Sanders highlighted the resources available to each AP, while Mr. Beckwith emphasized the importance of providing training to prepare them for future principal positions. The attendees also enjoyed lunch, fostering a relaxed environment for conversation and networking. As part of their culminating activity on self-esteem, Emma Blanchard and Jaiden Johnson shared a book they wrote with the first grade class.
