In a suspenseful game, the Woodland Wolves defeated the East Edisto Wolves with a final score of 18-12. This game took an unexpected turn for the better, with memorable performances from many players.
One standout player, #12 Jaxson Clifford, scored two touchdowns, made a 10-yard run, caught another pass for 15 yards, and made two tackles while assisting with another. #32 Aiden Bauerle also contributed with three tackles, and #11 Jhailen Herrin made three tackles and caught a pass that advanced them 10 yards upfield. Meanwhile, #7 Mason Johnson had an impressive game, catching a 15-yard pass, making four blocking passes, and running about 30 yards after catching another pass. #9 Jet Riley was another key player, showcasing his quarterback skills with approximately 100 rushing yards and 175 passing yards. Despite throwing an interception, Jet managed a QB run and a 25-yard run after keeping the ball. To top off his highlights, he also caught a punt.
#82 De'Montai Felder came ready to play, catching a pass, running about 25 yards, and making two tackles. Additionally, #22 Khalin Bryant made a crucial QB tackle, and #40 Sir'mani Grampus shone by scoring the first touchdown, catching another pass, making a tackle, and assisting with another. Lastly, #80 Zah'den Simmons caught a pass and ran about 30 yards, adding to the team’s momentum.
What made this game so suspenseful were the final moments: with less than a minute left, #12 Jaxson Clifford scored a touchdown, tying the score at 12-12. Then, with less than 20 seconds left on the clock, Jaxson scored yet another touchdown, securing the victory for the Wolves.
