On Wednesday, Harleyville Elementary School hosted its Character Student of the Month Breakfast, celebrating students who exemplified Perseverance. One student from each homeroom was selected and recognized for demonstrating resilience and determination in their daily school life. Principal Jeremy Wolfgang and School Counselor Ophelia Gillens presented each honoree with a special bracelet, a certificate, and a bag of goodies as a token of appreciation for their hard work.
Parents and guardians attended the event, joining their children for a heartwarming breakfast in celebration of their achievements. The school community gathered to acknowledge not only the students' dedication but also the unwavering support from families.
This month, Harleyville Elementary introduced two additional awards:
Teacher of the Month and Staff Member of the Month, both of which were voted on by students. The inaugural recipients were Sheila Summers, Reading Interventionist, and School Resource Officer John Stone. These two individuals were honored for their dedication, positive impact, and support of students throughout the school.
Harleyville Elementary continues to foster a culture of recognition and encouragement, ensuring that both students and staff feel valued for their efforts in making the school a welcoming and inspiring place to learn.
